Being in pain can not only ruin your day, but possibly also your month or even your entire year. If you are experiencing pain, you may be out of alignment and need to be put back into place. Your body functions better when everything works harmoniously.
Our qualified and friendly staff will help correct your pain and have you back to feeling better again. Although you may feel great after just one session, we also want to make sure that you never feel that pain again. We will work with you to develop a plan that will require light stretching, some exercise, and an ice pack. Nothing that we request will hurt; in fact, it will only make you feel better.

Activator Method
The Activator is the most widely used chiropractic instrument. Studies show improvement with the Activator Method. It also has been compared to other techniques and proven to be just as effective. This means that for many patients an Activator adjustment could very well lead to the same outcome as a manual adjustment.
Chiropractic Care
We specialize in correcting your body’s misalignments. Our goal is to ensure that your spine and the rest of your body are working harmoniously. To do so, we will help you develop a plan that will require light stretching, some exercise, chiropractic care, and a healthy diet.
Corrective Exercises
Corrective exercises are the use of bodily movements and/or postures to restore desirable changes in diseased or injured tissues. The corrective exercises are movement strategies that minimize or eliminate compensation. Corrective exercises should precede more integrated exercises, because they can cue the patient’s motor system to respond in a more desirable way and assist in removing or improving biomechanical constraints.
Custom Orthotics
Foot Levelers custom orthotics are individually designed for your feet – helping achieve a balanced foundation and stabilized pelvis. Our custom orthotics are handmade for your unique feet based on 3D scans or casts, and your medical provider’s exam.
Only Foot Levelers custom orthotics support all 3 arches of the foot, which make up the plantar vault. Since our orthotics are custom-made by hand from scans or casts of your feet, no two pairs of Foot Levelers custom orthotics are alike! Innovations like 3-Arch Support, and high quality materials and scanning technology, enable a uniqueness to each orthotic – shaped and crafted to your individual feet – resulting a much higher-quality orthotic that also happens to be extremely effective in reducing low back pain and other forms of pain typically related to foot conditions. Made in the USA. 1 year Warranty. Satisfaction Guaranteed.
Diversified Technique
The goal of the Diversified Technique is to reduce nerve interference. There are no special or unique procedures needed. Patients are assessed using these various mechanisms: history and basic examination (orthopedic and neurologic), palpation, x-ray, leg checks and reflex procedures as well as others.
The procedure involves analyzing the full spine and extremities. The majority of adjustments used in Diversified are manual adjustments, HVLA (high velocity, low amplitude), or long lever manipulations aimed at cavitating the joint and creating an audible release. This sound is known by patients as the “popping” or “cracking” sound associated with adjustments.
Electrical Stimulation
Electrotherapy is an alternative pain management treatment option that involves the use of mild electromagnetic pulses to provide relief for the patient. This treatment option can dull pain, repair tissue, strengthen muscles, and even improve your blood circulation.
Kinesio Taping
Kinesiology Taping is a precise rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints. This technique allows the body’s normal range of motion as well as providing extending soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits of manual therapy administered within the clinical setting. Kinesio tape is latex-free and hypoallergenic which makes it “skin friendly” for patients with sensitive or fragile skin; such as, patients with diabetes, fibromyalgia or rheumatoid arthritis.
Enriched Plasma Therapy
Platelet Enriched Plasma (PRP) has continued to grow as a reliable way to treat soft tissue and joint injuries effectively. People experience these kinds of injuries for many reasons – sometimes they are due to intense sports or can be a result of aging or developing osteo arthritis. In any of these cases, PRP can help heal the affected tissues more quickly.

Spinal Decompression
Spinal decompression is a non-invasive mechanical procedure performed within our office to help alleviate back pain. It involves gently stretching the spine to take pressure off the spinal discs (the cushions that separate the vertebrae in the spine). By relieving this pressure, bulging discs can retract back into place which takes pressure off the nerves in the spine. By decompressing the spine, it permits water, oxygen and other fluids to work their way back into the discs allowing them to heal naturally. Spinal decompression is an excellent option for anyone with chronic back pain who wants to get back to living a pain-free life as quickly as possible.
Trigger Point Injections
Here at Quality of Life Medical Center, we are proud to offer trigger point injections for patients struggling with fibromyalgia, tension headaches, myofascial pain, and muscle pain in the arms, legs, lower back, and neck. During your appointment with the nurse practitioner, they will locate the area where you are experiencing pain and inject small amounts of anesthetic (Lidocaine or Sarapin) and saline (crystalloid fluid) to help alleviate your muscle and joint symptoms.
This procedure is safe, and the risk of possible complications is very low. You may experience soreness or numbness at the injection site for a temporary period of time. While you should avoid strenuous activity for a few days, you should be able to actively use your muscles immediately following treatment.

Ultrasound
Ultrasound therapy is a beneficial treatment used to help reduce muscle pain and increase range of motion. By using sound waves, we are able to stimulate deep inside the tissue. This minimizes stiffness, swelling, and pain while also promoting circulation, and pain-free movement. *maybe recommended for bruising, plantar fasciitis, or deep muscle aches.
X-Rays
One of the most important elements of our collaborate care is diagnostics. Radiology is a tool utilized in care as a diagnostic practice to rule out pathology (such as possible tumor or fracture) and additional aid to determine posture and alignment issues. We can Xray any part of the body and our on-staff chiropractor is an expert in taking and reading x-rays. All x-rays are discussed on second visit.
Knee on Track
This machine gently separates the joint space between the bottom of the femur (thigh bone) and the top of the tibia (shin bone). It can create a vacuum effect inside the knee joint which brings more nutrient rich fluid to the area. This also stretches the tendons, ligaments, and other soft tissue around the joint. This combined effect helps to re-establish some of the natural joint space and cushioning in the knee.
Research has shown that traction therapy can increase bone growth (osteogenesis), improve blood supply (angiogenesis), and increase joint mobility (viscoelasticity).
This reduces pain, increases normal motion of the joint, and promotes tissue healing.
MicroNutrient Testing
Knowing both your extracellular and intracellular micronutrient levels are key to a thorough understanding of your nutritional requirements at a foundational level, which may contribute to your risk for disease, while simultaneously and positively impacting your overall health and well-being.
Back Brace
A back brace can help unload some of the weight normally placed on the lower back, in the process reducing pressure on the spine’s joints, discs, and muscles. By reducing spinal pressure, a back brace may lessen painful muscle tension that is a common protective reaction following an injury. When a back is in an injured stated wearing a back brace for 6 hours a day can give rest to the joint and allow you to take less medication.
Knee Brace
Unloading knee braces belong to a special category of knee brace that shifts weight bearing pressure from one side of your knee joint to another. The key benefit of these braces is their ability to reduce pain and discomfort for individuals suffering the effects of knee osteoarthritis.
Osteoarthritis (OA) causes irreversible structural damage to the joint which can lead to poor alignment and dysfunctional joint mechanics. This dysfunction can affect a person’s posture and gait, leading to more joint pain. An offloading knee brace realigns and repositions the knee joint so that the leg moves correctly.
By shifting some of a patient’s weight off the portion of the joint with tissue damage, a knee brace can help reduce the pain and swelling associated with OA. For patients who have experienced their knee buckling or giving out, wearing a brace can help them feel more confident when walking and exercising.
